Meetings:

• Monthly Membership Meetings are open to the general public and are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Crump Community Center, 1751 Cong W L Dickinson Dr, Montgomery, AL 36107, in Room 2. Parking and entrance are at the rear of the building. Meeting time is 6:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm.
• Programs during the monthly meetings range from historical use of herbs, their medicinal properties, how to make your dishes more flavorful with the use of herbs, educational lectures on research, and how to plant and grow herbs. Some of the programs are hands-on!
• A monthly business meeting follows the presentation of the program.

Alabama Herb Society members:

• Plant and maintain the Crump Senior Center Garden at Crump Senior Center and will work on other public herb gardens as agreed upon by the membership.  Some of our members volunteer for the Governor’s Mansion Garden, E.A.T. So, Old Al Town.
• Share knowledge and experience of its members with the community: schools, church groups, public garden groups, and garden clubs
• Sponsor Herb Day annually in the spring.
• Sponsor an annual Fall Event.

Membership dues are $10.00 per year.  Membership dues are due no later than Jan 31.
