Free Fruit Orchard Contest

From Old Alabama Town’s Historic Properties Curator, Carole King…

Everybody…  Old Alabama Town is a national finalist to receive a free fruit orchard provided by EDY’S fruit bars.   17 of the 100 finalists (that’s us) will be selected by votes. Just go to  www.communitiestakeroot.com  and click on our peach over Montgomery on the map.  You’ll have to open an account and we need to vote DAILY.   Voting started yesterday and we’re behind already.   Camp McDowell in Jasper is already in the top 10 with 274 votes so we gotta hustle to catchup.   Our OAT plan includes apple, peach, plum, and pomegranate trees with blueberries.  We have until May 31st for the first round of voting.   Keep clicking and thanks!
