He’ll grow over a dozen hot peppers this year including Bhut Jolokia, also known as Ghost Pepper, the world’s hottest pepper. Join us for the first meeting of the new year on Tuesday, January 19, 6:00 pm at the Loeb Center, Old Alabama Town. Members, bring your favorite cold weather herbal dish for the pot luck.
Plan for the November Meeting
“Let us give thanks” is the theme for the next OATHS meeting on Tuesday, November 17, 6:00 pm at the Loeb Center at Old Alabama Town. It’s time for our annual Thanksgiving Feast, so bring your favorite seasonal foods. Jean Szabo will be coordinating the menu. The evening will be a time of fellowship, a time to share garden stories, and bring seeds that you have collected for a “seed swap.” The lovely ceramic plant markers that members made will be available for purchase -$3.00 for markers only and $5.00 for marker with wire stake (there are a limited number of stakes, but you can make your own). They will make good holiday gifts.
See you at the meeting.
Herbally yours,
Sherrie Hamil
